CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., October 10, 2017 – Today, ASTM International announced a partnership with the Codes and Standards Training Institute (CASTI) and unveiled the partnership’s first e-learning course and webinar: “API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection Code - General Study”. This e-learning course and webinar offer an ideal introduction to the API 510 Code for novices to more experienced personnel working with pressure equipment.
The new ASTM CASTI© e-Learning Series of online courses and webinars are being built on ASTM International’s new e-learning platform that allows customers to study at their own pace and on any device, including mobile devices, with easy to learn step-by-step explanations of the codes and standards. CASTI’s role in the partnership is to provide training content and subject matter expertise through its 28 years of experience training people worldwide on codes and standards for a number of industries. This first course and webinar will be quickly followed by others, including API 510, 570, and 653 Individual Certification Program exam preparation e-Learning courses and webinars to assist candidates to successfully pass the 7-hour exams for each certification.
